8 progressively more sucky logos

  1. The most simplistic and memorable logo that stands out to me is #2. #2 is also very versatile in that it could be any size or color and still be readable. The design is appropriate for what it is being used for. It is also classy and timeless, but still original. Nice work!

  2. I enjoy the different attempts to attach the two letters, for that reason i find 1, 2, and 5 to be my favorites. 5 is certainly the most original and creative, however it may be too abstract in the fact that it has less readability as compared to 1 or 2. 1 has a lovely boxy yet rounded quality that I love, its highly effective, and I find it to be the best because of the quality of line demonstrated. 2 is a different take on the same idea however the curves should be revisited, smoothed out, so that it is unified.

  3. #2 is my favorite, because it's simple and could very versitile. Many color mixtures would go well with this design, buts it's too simple and could be more unique.

  4. Most creative and memorable, in my opinion, is 5; however, it took me a while to distinguish the "S" and the "V," since the logo itself looks more like an "R" (although that might be what you were aiming for). To me, number 4 is the most "professional" looking; I like how, although it's not symmetrical, the sizing could be adjusted and the logo would still work. 4 is memorable to me, for the wrong reason. The "V" in 4 kind of reminds me of the "V" in the vevo logo; however, an interesting suggestion I can offer, to take care of that problem, is mirroring the "V" in 4 to create a frame around the "S,"leave a gap between the otherwise connecting "V's."

  5. My favorite are number 1 and 2. They are simple and memorable to me. The S and the V connected is a nice detail that fits well with the logo. Either of those would be good as a logo.

  7. I like number 1 and number 5 but i feel that number 5 is a bit hard to read. I think that #1 is simple but also different.

  8. #1, #2 and #5 are the best in my opinion. however #5 looks as if you drew the infinity symbol with a V attached to it. Only thing i would probably suggest is to arch the top part of the S back just a little bit. #2 Stands out as a professional clean and simple logo that would definitely work.

  9. I think #2 best fits the credentials that the assignment entails. Its simple and fits the business logo you were told to do.
